Raja Gidh by Bano Qudsia was published in 1981 by Sang-e-Meel publisher. The story of the novel is about a beautiful and good looking girl Samina Shah. She belongs to an upper class family and studies at Govt.Collage Lahore in the master of Sociology class. Her all class fellows and young Professor Sohail like her very much and want to make love relations with her, but she loves with Aaftab who is also her classmate and a handsome guy. Aaftab belongs to a Kashmiri family and he also loves Samina Shah but due to his family restrictions he has to marry with someone other. Then he has to go to the UK for their family business. This book also gives some moral lessons.
